Me, Doreen Virtue, my friend Rosmond Williams,
and Intuitive Lynette Brown
I grew up in the Chicago area, an only child in a single parent household. Without siblings around me, I was forced to get in touch with my creativity and intuition. Most of my favorite books and movies were reminiscent of today's Harry Potter books, full of whimsical imagination and magic. Many intuitives have great histories of clairvoyant experiences that started when they were small children. This is not the case for me; however, I do remember an occasional muffled voice trying to contact me and many dreams of spirits. I believe now that they were not just dreams. My favorite story is about my imaginary older brother, Joe Bert. When I was around 3 or 4, I spoke of Joe Bert on a daily basis to my mother. In the early 90's I found out that I had an older brother with the same parents that was given up for adoption. After many years of wondering about the sibling I did not know, I found him in 1999 and it has been a joyous reunion. Luckily, his name did not turn out to be Joe Bert!
When I was barely in high school, I took a large interest in astrology, palm reading, and tarot cards. I learned about new age spirituality through Shirley MacLaine's books and become fascinated with channeling and the concept of past lives. During my freshman year in college, I spent many hours doing tarot card readings for the girls in my dorm and was known as the resident "gypsy". My freshman year is also the time I experienced an unsuccessful spontaneous out-of-body experience. My fear stopped me from fully leaving my body. Entering early adulthood I left my "new age" spiritual studies behind. I thought that it would be easier just to fit in and be accepted in the mainstream culture. Also throughout my twenties, I had a succession of spiritually starved boyfriends and out of fear of rejection I rarely rocked the boat by taking time for my spiritual interests. For years, I buried myself in the energy of the corporate world. My early joy as a planner in the events/meetings industry disappeared gradually over the years. The travel, hotels, restaurants and parties that seemed so glamorous in my first years were just not enough. I was good at what I did, but ultimately did not have the passion for my career that I so desperately longed for. Materialism, status, and ego-based pursuits had left me feeling hollow. George Harrison said it so well in one of his last interviews. Here is the gist of what he said, from my memory- "If you are not questioning why you're here on earth, what is the point of being here at all?".
In July of 2001, I was drawn to make an appointment with Tina Michelle, a psychic who was in town for the weekend doing readings at a local spiritually-based bookstore. I saw an advertisement and something inside my head told me that I needed to see her. I knew nothing about her, other than the fact that she had been on television in such shows as. "Lifetime's Beyond Chance" and "Fox's Scariest Places". You know, I did not even know she worked with the angelic realm until I met with her. I had never had any interest in angels or the angelic realm, but after being blown away by her accuracy, I knew I had to find out more about this subject. Tina Michelle was communicating with my guardian angels- what a concept! At that time, I did not know what a huge catalyst this meeting would be for me.
In December 2001, I had a profound spiritual experience that changed my life. Please read the first 8 months of my experience under Psychic Journey.
About my logo:

The Divine Artistry Logo is more than an attractive visual- it has profound spiritual symbolism within it!
- The outer sun-like flames represent transmutation.
- The inner Maltese Cross is a symbol of the perfect balance of God's Divine Energy.
Meaning of the four symmetrical arms of the Maltese Cross:
- North Arm (white) – Energies of Spirit
- East Arm (pink)- Love
- South Arm (yellow)- Wisdom
- West Arm (blue)- Power
- The North Arm contains the initials DA representing "Divine Artistry".
- The South Arm contains two crescent moons representing my initials and the moon symbolism of intuition.
- The hummingbirds represent Joy.
- The center of the cross is a lotus blossom which is the symbol of Spiritual Unfoldment.
